Block Reward

The block reward is the payment that is offered to the node that is securing the blockchain. In the case of Bitcoin, which is has a Proof-of-Work consensus algorithm, these would be the miners. The payment is in the form of the native cryptocurrency of that blockchain. The amount is a predetermined reward per block, but often that is supplemented with the fees that are paid for the transactions that block contains. For Bitcoin the current block rewards are cut in half every four years. This is called the ‘halvening’.

Altcoin

An altcoin is any cryptocurrency or token created after the Bitcoin was developed.

Hodl

This is a crypto -investor strategy entitled "Remove cryptocurrency and keep it, no matter what." This term was formed in distant cryptocurrency times, when one of the users of the network made a typo in the word "Hold" (hold). The story was encouraged and became a meme, and the word migrated to the slang of the crypto -investor. It is permissible to use both options: Hold and Hodl. Holding (worthwhile) means holding cryptocurrency on the wallet and not selling. Holder (Kholer) an investor who adheres to this strategy.

Transaction Fee

These are commission fees that the user pays to miners or validators of the network for various transactions and transactions. The commission is paid using the native tokens of a particular network, for example, on the BSC network for transactions, you need to pay in BNB.

Blockchain

Blockchain is most simply defined as a decentralized, distributed ledger technology that records the provenance of a digital asset.
